On the 79th Independence Day, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) announced prestigious honors for 13 officers and personnel of the Haryana Police. In recognition of their outstanding bravery and dedication, two top officers received the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM), while 11 others were conferred with the Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM).
🏅 Top Honors: Distinguished Service The President’s Medal for Distinguished Service—the highest honor for a police officer—was awarded to two senior IPS officers for their long-term impact on state security and policing:

Sibash Kabiraj: Currently serving as the Commissioner of Police, Panchkula.

Kuldeep Singh: Serving as the Inspector General of Police (IGP), State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (SVACB).
