Jul 9, 2025 | Haryana

In a continuing effort to bring governance to the doorstep of citizens, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini conducted a comprehensive ‘Jan Samvad’ (Public Dialogue) program in the Kaithal district on July 9, 2025. The event was part of a broader outreach initiative designed to address local grievances directly and review the on-ground implementation of state welfare schemes.

๐Ÿ“ Addressing Grievances at the Grassroots

During the session, the Chief Minister personally interacted with hundreds of residents, listening to complaints ranging from civic amenities to administrative delays. CM Saini directed officials to resolve valid grievances on the spot wherever possible, emphasizing a zero-tolerance policy for negligence in public service delivery.

Key issues raised by the public included:

  • Civic Infrastructure: Complaints regarding water supply, incomplete sewerage works, and road repairs.

  • Welfare Schemes: Issues related to the issuance of Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) and delays in pension disbursement.

  • Rural Development: Requests for community center upgrades and better connectivity for remote villages.

๐Ÿ“‹ Review of Government Schemes

Beyond individual complaints, the CM reviewed the progress of major flagship schemes in the district, such as the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana and water conservation efforts. He urged local representatives, including Sarpanches and Zila Parishad members, to actively monitor development works and ensure quality standards are met.

The Chief Minister also highlighted the state’s commitment to the Antyodaya principleโ€”uplifting the last person in the socio-economic queueโ€”and assured residents that the administration would continue to be responsive and accountable.
