In a shocking revelation that has raised serious health concerns among local consumers, the Food Safety Department, accompanied by local police, busted a factory manufacturing spurious ghee and adulterated milk in the Siwan area on July 28.
๐ซ The Raid: “White Poison” Factory Acting on a specific tip-off about the movement of suspicious dairy products, officials raided a premises in the Siwan area (bordering Jind district). Inside, they discovered a full-scale operation dedicated to producing fake ghee and synthetic milk.

Seizure: The team seized large quantities of “refined oil” and “vanaspati” which were allegedly being mixed with essence and chemicals to be passed off as “Pure Desi Ghee.”

Modus Operandi: Sources revealed that the factory was packaging this hazardous mixture into tins resembling popular local brands to dupe rural customers.
๐งช Health Hazard “We found containers of chemicals and white powder used to manufacture synthetic milk. This is not just fraud; it is a direct attack on public health,” stated a Food Safety Officer present at the site.
