Panic spread through the medical fraternity of Jind on August 8 after a brazen extortion attempt targeting a local healthcare provider. The female owner of ‘Muskan Hospital,’ a well-known private facility in the city, received a threatening call demanding a hefty sum of money.
๐ The Threat: “Pay or Die” The incident occurred when the hospital owner received a call from an unknown number.

The Demand: The caller demanded โน20 lakh in extortion money (“Rangdari”).

The Warning: The miscreants issued a direct threat to her life, stating she would be shot dead if the demand was not met or if she approached the police.
๐จ Police Action Terrified by the call, the victim immediately approached the Jind City Police Station.
