Eligibility Criteria: To qualify for the ₹2,100 monthly benefit, applicants must meet the following:

Age: Between 23 and 60 years.

Income: Family annual income must be below ₹1 lakh (verified via Parivar Pehchan Patra).

Residency: Must be a permanent resident of Haryana (domiciled for at least 15 years).

The Registration Rush: While Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has emphasized that the process is primarily digital via the Lado Lakshmi App, the rural population’s reliance on CSC operators has created a bottleneck. In some villages, “tokens” were distributed to manage the crowds as servers faced intermittent slowdowns due to high traffic.

Economic Impact: With a budget allocation of ₹5,000 crore, the scheme is expected to benefit nearly 20 lakh women in its first phase. The funds will be credited directly to beneficiaries’ bank accounts via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
