The Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) has announced plans to conduct a large-scale e-auction of residential, commercial, and institutional plots by the end of January 2026. This move is part of the authority’s ongoing efforts to monetize vacant land and meet the growing demand for real estate in urban hubs across the state.
Details of the E-Auction The upcoming auction will feature a wide range of properties located in various sectors of prime cities.
-
Property Types: The inventory includes residential plots of various sizes (6 Marla to 1 Kanal), commercial booths, SCOs (Shop-cum-Offices), and small institutional sites.
-
Key Locations: Prime properties in Gurugram, Panchkula, Faridabad, Hisar, and Rohtak are expected to be the main attractions.
-
Bidding Process: The entire process will be conducted online through the official HSVP e-auction portal. Interested bidders are required to register themselves and deposit the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD), which is typically 5% to 10% of the base price, before the auction date.
Transparency and Accessibility The Chief Administrator of HSVP stated that the e-auction format ensures complete transparency and allows people from across the country to participate without any middleman interference. The authority has uploaded the detailed brochures, including sector maps and base prices, on its website to help potential buyers make informed decisions.
Impact on Infrastructure The revenue generated from this mega-auction will be utilized for the maintenance and development of infrastructure in HSVP sectors. This includes the repair of roads, upgrading of sewerage systems, and the development of new parks. The authority is also focusing on resolving any pending litigation on the plots being offered to ensure a smooth possession process for the winners.
