Union Minister of State and local MP Rao Inderjit Singh convened a high-level review meeting on Saturday to assess the progress of shifting the Kherki Daula toll plaza to its new location at Pachgaon. He issued strict directives to officials to accelerate the removal process while ensuring that local residents do not face inconvenience during the transition.

Deadline for Proposal: The Minister directed all concerned departments to jointly prepare a practical proposal within a week regarding the shift. This proposal will be presented to the police, followed by a coordination meeting to finalise traffic arrangements.

Focus on Pachgaon: Highlighting Pachgaon as a future “key growth zone,” Rao Inderjit noted the upcoming HSIIDC industrial area and the proposed Namo Bharat (RRTS) station in the vicinity. He emphasised that the toll shift must not obstruct the movement of local farmers and villagers.

Safety First: Officials were instructed to prioritise the safety and smooth movement of commuters during the construction phase at the new site.

Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari NH (352W): Officials informed that the route up to the KMP Expressway will be fully opened for traffic by February 15, 2026, providing major relief to commuters. The northern section is targeted to open by the first week of March.

Bilaspur Chowk: Expressing concern over traffic jams caused by ongoing flyover construction, the Minister demanded effective alternative traffic management.

Rathiwas Flyover: Directions were issued to speed up work on the under-construction flyover at the Rathiwas bus stop.
