In a disturbing incident of familial violence, a 35-year-old woman was brutally stabbed and critically injured by her son from her first marriage in the Pinangawa area of Nuh district, Haryana. The attack, which occurred on Monday, reportedly stems from the son’s anger over his mother’s recent remarriage.
The Incident
According to police reports, the victim, identified as Waheedan, had remarried approximately two weeks ago and had been living with her second husband in a rented accommodation in Bhat Colony, Pinangawa for the last 12 days.

The Attack: The accused, Waheedan’s elder son from her previous marriage, arrived at her new residence on Monday.

Weapon Used: In a fit of rage, he allegedly attacked her with a knife, stabbing her repeatedly in the hands and legs.

Background
The victim, originally from Chhainsa village in Palwal district, has five children from her first marriage. Villagers reported that she had been in contact with her second husband prior to the marriage, a fact that her first husband reportedly only discovered after she had left.
