With the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Group-C posts fast approaching on July 26 and 27, the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) released a critical update on July 24 regarding the exam day dress code and security protocols. To maintain the integrity of the examination, authorities have enforced a strict ban on personal stationery while ensuring religious sentiments are respected.
๐ซ Strict Anti-Cheating Measures In a bid to prevent malpractice and the use of electronic devices, the commission has tightened entry regulations.

No Stationery: Candidates are strictly prohibited from carrying pens, pencils, erasers, or sharpeners into the exam hall. Black or blue ballpoint pens will be provided by the invigilators inside the center.

Dress Code: Aspirants are advised to wear simple clothing. Garments with large buttons, heavy embroidery, or thick soles are not permitted to facilitate faster frisking.

Prohibited Items: Mobile phones, smartwatches, belts, wallets, and any metallic items (other than exempted religious symbols) are banned.
โ Religious Exemptions Confirmed Addressing concerns from previous years, the administration has issued specific clarifications regarding religious attire.

Mangalsutra Allowed: Married female candidates will be permitted to wear the Mangalsutra.

Sikh Religious Symbols: Amritdhari Sikh candidates are allowed to carry the Kirpan and Kara, provided they report to the exam center early for security screening.
