CM Saini Launches ₹68 Cr Projects in Dadri; Announces Police Recruitment Drive

In a major political show of strength ahead of the assembly elections, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini addressed a massive “Vikas Rally” in Charkhi Dadri on July 25. Setting the tone for the upcoming electoral battle, the CM inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 19 development projects worth ₹68 crore, while making significant announcements regarding government jobs.

🏗️ Key Development Projects (₹68 Crore) The Chief Minister emphasized that Charkhi Dadri, created as a district in 2016, would now witness development at “triple speed.” Key projects unveiled include:

  • Power Infrastructure: Inauguration of 33 kV substations at Gokal (₹5.80 Cr), Jhojhu Kalan (₹4.34 Cr), and Badhra (₹3.80 Cr) to ensure uninterrupted power supply.

  • Sports & Education: A new sports stadium at Pichopa Kalan built at a cost of ₹13 crore and a Block Resource Coordinator office (₹66 lakh).

  • Water & Roads: Foundation stone laid for new waterworks in Makdani and Santokhpura (₹9.5 Cr) and the Gopalwas-Nawan road (₹3.66 Cr).

👮 Police Recruitment & CET Update Addressing the youth, CM Saini made a crucial announcement regarding employment:

  • Police Recruitment: The recruitment process for the Haryana Police will commence immediately after the CET exam (scheduled for July 26-27).

  • Exam Relief: Reitarating the government’s support for aspirants, he confirmed free bus travel for all female candidates and one family member for the CET exam days.

🎗️ Honoring Martyrs Before the rally, the Chief Minister visited village Jhojhu Kalan to unveil the statue of Martyr Arvind Sangwan, paying tribute to the region’s strong military tradition. “This land belongs to heroes, and our government has increased ex-gratia for martyr families to ₹1 Crore,” he stated.

🗳️ Political Charge Taking a dig at the opposition, Saini remarked, “The previous government spent only ₹175 crore in 10 years on Badhra’s development, whereas we have already executed works worth ₹495 crore. We are committed to a corruption-free, transparent Haryana.”
