In a major announcement aimed at bolstering the state’s law enforcement machinery and providing employment opportunities to youth, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini declared on July 17, 2025, that new police recruitment drives would commence immediately following the declaration of the Common Eligibility Test (CET) results.

Speaking at an official function, the Chief Minister clarified the roadmap for the upcoming recruitment of 6,000 constables (5,000 male and 1,000 female). He stated that the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has been directed to align the police recruitment process with the upcoming CET schedule.

Expedited Process: CM Saini issued strict instructions to the Director General of Police (DGP) and HSSC officials to expedite the process, ensuring there are no bureaucratic delays once the eligible pool of candidates is identified through the CET.
