Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s nationwide address during the 9th edition of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ (PPC), Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini interacted with students at a state-level function held at the RKSD College auditorium in Kaithal on Friday. The Chief Minister urged students to treat examinations as a “celebration” rather than a source of stress and anxiety.
CM Saini, who watched the live telecast of the Prime Minister’s “Exam Warriors” special episode alongside students, teachers, and parents, emphasized that marks do not define a person’s worth. “Examinations are not your identity; rather, the effort, hard work, and thinking that you put into preparing for exams are your real identity,” Saini told the gathering. He echoed PM Modi’s sentiment that students should not be bogged down by the fear of failure but should instead focus on consistent effort and self-belief.
Addressing the students of Classes 9 to 12, the Chief Minister highlighted that the PPC programme is not just about academic results but about building mental strength and confidence. He also touched upon broader national goals, encouraging the youth to contribute to a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India) and participate actively in cleanliness campaigns. “Today’s children will be the strong pillars of a developed India,” he stated.
The event was organized under the supervision of the Education Department, with Kaithal Deputy Commissioner Aparajita and Superintendent of Police Upasana reviewing the arrangements. The Chief Minister’s interaction was part of a district-level programme designed to motivate students ahead of their upcoming board examinations.
