In a moment of pride for the state force, Rajesh Duggal, Joint Commissioner of Police (JCP), Faridabad, has been selected for the prestigious President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service on the occasion of Republic Day 2026. Along with him, 12 other officers and personnel of the Haryana Police will be honoured with the Police Medal for Meritorious Service in recognition of their exemplary dedication to duty.

Rajesh Duggal (PPM): Currently serving as JCP in Faridabad, Duggal is the sole recipient from Haryana for the Distinguished Service medal this year. His career spans over three decades, during which he has served as SP in districts like Rohtak, Jhajjar, and Palwal.

Simardeep Singh (PMMS): Among the 12 meritorious service awardees is Simardeep Singh, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Rohtak Range. He is noted for his tenure as the head of the Special Task Force (STF), where he spearheaded major anti-gangster operations and led successful extradition efforts.

Official Praise: Haryana Director General of Police (DGP) Ajay Singhal congratulated the awardees, terming the national-level recognition as a “matter of pride” that would boost the morale of the entire force.
