Faridabad Police Arrest Three for Gunpoint Loot

Crime Branch 30 of the Faridabad Police on August 14 announced the arrest of three individuals involved in a brazen gunpoint robbery at a money transfer shop in the Bhupani police station area. The accused allegedly looted ₹37,000 from the shop owner last month, a crime that was captured on CCTV.

🔫 The Robbery: A Premeditated Attack The incident occurred on July 11 when the shop owner, Aman, was seated in his establishment in Tikawali village.

  • The Modus Operandi: Three men entered the shop under the pretext of withdrawing money using an Aadhaar card.

  • The Threat: Suddenly, one of the men brandished a pistol, threatening Aman’s life while the others emptied ₹37,000 from the cash drawer.

  • The Escape: The trio fled the scene after warning the victim of dire consequences if he reported the matter.

🚨 Investigation and Arrests Following a complaint, the police initiated an investigation and scanned local CCTV footage, which led to the identification of the suspects.

  • The Accused: The arrested individuals have been identified as Deepak, Rahul, and Manish, all residents of Dighot village in Palwal district.

  • The Mastermind: During interrogation, the suspects revealed that the robbery was planned by an individual named Rohit, who provided transportation and identified the target.

⚖️ Police Proceedings The three arrested men were produced in court on August 14 and have been taken into a three-day police remand for further questioning. A manhunt is currently underway to apprehend the remaining two accomplices, Rohit and Sachin.
