Devotion in Ambala: The historical Gurdwaras in Ambala, including Gurdwara Panjokhra Sahib, saw a heavy rush of devotees from early morning. The grand Nagar Kirtan started from the Ambala City Gurdwara, passing through the main markets where local residents and shopkeepers set up ‘Langar’ and refreshment stalls for the participants.

Procession in Karnal: In Karnal, the Nagar Kirtan was a spectacle of Sikh martial arts (Gatka) and traditional devotional music. The procession included a beautifully decorated palanquin carrying the Guru Granth Sahib. Schools and social organizations joined the march, highlighting the Guru’s teachings of selfless sacrifice and universal brotherhood.

State-Wide Observance: In Panchkula and Kurukshetra, Gurdwaras organized “Dhan Guru Tegh Bahadur” seminars to educate the younger generation about the history of the Guru’s martyrdom in Delhi’s Chandni Chowk.
