The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Haryana, on August 4 processed a significant batch of fee reimbursements for college students under the state’s “Free Passport Scheme.” The move brings financial relief to final-year students who had applied for their passports in the previous academic session.
๐ The Scheme: Empowering Youth The initiative, designed to encourage students to pursue higher education and career opportunities abroad, covers the cost of passport issuance for final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students in government colleges.

Reimbursement Processed: The DHE released the funds to the respective college principals, instructing them to credit the amount (โน1,500 per student) directly into the beneficiaries’ bank accounts immediately.
