The long period of uncertainty for higher education aspirants in Haryana ended today as the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) released the subject-wise interview dates for the Assistant Professor recruitment drive.

Ending the Wait: The recruitment for 1,535 posts across various subjects has been one of the most anticipated employment drives in the state. Candidates who qualified for the screening and subject knowledge tests had been protesting and requesting the commission for a clear timeline to avoid further career stagnation.

The Interview Timeline: As per the official notification, the interviews are scheduled to commence in the first week of October. The commission will conduct the sessions in multiple boards to expedite the process, aiming to complete the final merit list by the end of the year.

Subjects Covered: The initial schedule includes high-demand subjects such as English, Commerce, Geography, and Hindi, where the number of applicants was exceptionally high. Detailed roll-number-wise slots have been uploaded to the HPSC’s official website (hpsc.gov.in).

Selection Weightage: The final selection will be based on a cumulative score where:

Written Exam/Subject Knowledge: Holds 87.5% weightage.
