Man and Son Injured in Two Explosions from Online-Ordered Material in Bathinda

BATHINDA – A family in Jeeda village, Bathinda, has suffered a tragic setback after a man and his father were injured in two explosions involving material ordered online. The blasts occurred on Wednesday, prompting a police investigation to determine the nature of the material.

According to police, the first incident took place when Gurpreet Singh was working with the online-ordered material. An explosion occurred, leaving his hand badly injured. He was immediately rushed to Helius Hospital in Bathinda for treatment.

Later that evening, a second explosion occurred in the same room. This time, Gurpreet’s father, Jagtar Singh, was the victim while he was in the process of cleaning the room. The blast caused serious injuries to his eyes, and he was also admitted to the hospital.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Amneet Kaundal visited the site to inspect the scene, and forensic experts were called in to collect evidence. The house has been sealed as part of the ongoing investigation. The police are working to determine what type of material was ordered online and how it caused the explosions. The incident highlights the potential dangers of purchasing certain unverified materials online without proper knowledge or precautions.
