A terrifying monkey attack has left a resident of Dhani Piranwali seriously injured, highlighting the escalating monkey menace in the district. The victim, identified as Bimla, was returning home from her plot in the morning when she was surrounded and mauled by a troop of monkeys in a narrow alley.

The Brutal Assault: Witnesses reported that the monkeys attacked without provocation. One monkey bit her back, while another severely mauled her hand, causing a deep seven-inch gash.

Timely Rescue: Hearing her screams, family members and neighbors rushed to the spot and managed to drive the animals away. Bimla was immediately taken to the emergency ward of the Civil Hospital, where doctors administered 10 stitches to close the wounds.

Growing Public Outrage: Residents of the area expressed frustration, stating that monkey attacks have become a weekly occurrence. “We are living in fear. Our children cannot play outside, and even walking to the market is dangerous,” said a local neighbor.
