The Additional Sessions Judge, while pronouncing the sentence, emphasized the gravity of a mother turning into the killer of her own child.

The Execution of the Plot: The prosecution established that in 2023, the mother, in collusion with her lover, strangled the young girl. They then attempted to mislead the police by filing a missing person report. However, the child’s body was later recovered from a secluded spot based on technical surveillance.

The Motive Behind the Murder: During the trial, it was revealed that the couple viewed the 5-year-old daughter as a significant hindrance to their illicit affair. Call detail records (CDR) and forensic evidence proved that the paramour was present at the crime scene and was in constant contact with the mother during the incident.
