The Illumination: * Capital Glow: The Haryana Civil Secretariat, Vidhan Sabha, and the Panchkula Mini-Secretariat featured synchronized LED light shows. The tri-color theme was prominently displayed on several high-rise administrative blocks.

Historical Heritage: In Kurukshetra, the Brahma Sarovar ghats were lit with thousands of electric diyas and LED strips, reflecting off the holy waters. Sheikh Chilli’s Tomb was also illuminated under the supervision of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) to showcase its Mughal architecture.

Ritual of 14 Lamps: Following the traditional “Chaudah Diyon Ki Diwali” custom, many residents and officials performed Yama Deep Daan during the Pradosh Kaal (05:48 PM to 07:04 PM), lighting 14 lamps to seek protection and ward off negative energies.
