In a coordinated raid aimed at curbing child exploitation, a joint team of the Mission to the Desperate and Destitute of India (MDD of India) and the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit rescued three minors who were found working as labourers at a grocery shop in the local grain market.
Rescue Details

The Children: Two of the rescued boys are 16 years old, while the third is 15. All three hail from Uttar Pradesh.

The Raid: The operation was conducted by a team including Ravi Malik, Vijay Saini, and Vikas, who acted on information regarding minors being employed in hazardous conditions at the market.
Legal Proceedings Following the rescue, the children were produced before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC).

CWC Action: CWC Chairman Advocate Satish Kaushik, along with members Vikas Atri and Usha Rani, summoned the parents of the children.

Counseling & Warning: The committee counseled the families on the legal consequences of child labour. A strict warning was issued that any recurrence would lead to the registration of an FIR against the parents.

Directives to Employers: Advocate Kaushik also issued a blanket warning to owners of shops, hotels, factories, and brick kilns in the district, stating that employing children or assigning them work detrimental to their well-being would invite severe legal action.
