BJP Haryana Distributes Hearing Aids on Deen Dayal Jayanti

Sep 25, 2025 | Haryana

The spirit of selfless service took center stage in Haryana today as BJP workers transformed Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jayanti into a massive social outreach event. The day marked the midpoint of the ‘Sewa Pakhwada’, which spans from PM Narendra Modi’s birthday (Sept 17) to Gandhi Jayanti (Oct 2).

  • The Hearing Aid Initiative: In collaboration with the Social Justice and Empowerment Department and various NGOs, the party set up screening and distribution camps. Hundreds of elderly citizens from rural pockets were provided with digital hearing aids to improve their quality of life. “Modern technology must reach the poorest. This is the true tribute to Upadhyaya ji’s vision of Antyodaya,” stated a state party spokesperson.

  • Focus on ‘Divyang’ Welfare: In several districts like Ambala and Rohtak, artificial limbs and tricycles were also distributed. Medical teams were present at the camps to issue disability certificates on the spot, simplifying the process for beneficiaries who often struggle with digital registrations.

  • Statewide Blood Donation: A massive blood donation drive was coordinated by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), aiming to replenish blood banks across government civil hospitals. In Gurugram alone, over 500 units were reportedly collected in a single day.

  • Cleanliness and Health: BJP workers conducted ‘Shramdaan’ (voluntary labor) at public parks and statue sites of legendary leaders. At many locations, “Health Help Desks” were established to help citizens register for the Ayushman Bharat and Chirayu Haryana health insurance schemes.
