The Empowerment Theme: The pandal’s facade is adorned with portraits and stories of iconic Indian women, from ancient scholars to modern-day astronauts and athletes. Organizers stated that the theme aims to celebrate Maa Durga not just as a deity, but as a symbol of the inner strength every woman possesses. “We wanted this year’s Pujo to be more than just a ritual; it is a platform to sensitize the youth about gender equality and respect,” said a spokesperson for the Bangiya Parishad.

Artistic Excellence: * The Idol: Crafted by artisans from Kumartuli (Kolkata), the idol is made of 100% biodegradable clay and organic paints.
