CM Saini Gives Clean Chit to HPSC; Labels Recruitment Process Transparent and Scams-Free

Dec 9, 2025 | Haryana

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today took a firm stance against the narrative of recruitment scams, reinforcing the integrity of the state’s constitutional bodies.

  • Dismissing Opposition Claims: Addressing the media, the CM responded to recent protests and statements by the opposition parties regarding the HPSC’s functioning. “The opposition is unable to digest the fact that a poor man’s child is becoming an HCS officer or a Professor without paying a single rupee. They are trying to demoralize the youth by spreading lies,” the CM stated.

  • Evidence of Transparency: The CM pointed out that the HPSC has implemented several reforms, including OMR sheet carbon copies, digital evaluation, and the swift release of answer keys. He invited anyone with concrete evidence of corruption to come forward, promising “strictest possible action” if any wrongdoing is proven.

  • Ending the “Parchi-Kharchi” Culture: A recurring theme in the presser was the comparison with previous regimes. The CM argued that before 2014, jobs were “distributed” among kin and political workers, whereas the current system relies solely on the candidate’s marks and performance in the interview.

  • Youth Confidence: According to the CM, the high number of applications for recent HPSC posts—such as Assistant Professors and Veterinary Surgeons—is a testament to the trust the youth have in the commission’s fairness.

  • Challenge to Critics: He challenged the opposition leaders to provide a single instance of a candidate who was selected without merit in the last five years. “Our government stands by the hardworking students of Haryana. HPSC is, and will remain, an institution of excellence and integrity,” he concluded.
