In a historic and forward-looking New Year’s Eve address to the people of the state, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini today set a bold roadmap for 2026, pledging to propel Haryana toward becoming a $200 Billion Economy.

  • A Transformative Vision: Addressing the citizens via a statewide broadcast, the CM extended his heartiest greetings for 2026. “As we step into a new year, we don’t just see a change in the calendar, but a change in the scale of our ambitions. Our goal is clear: to make Haryana a $200 billion economic powerhouse by the end of 2026,” Saini declared.

  • The Blueprint for Growth: The CM outlined several key pillars that will drive this economic surge:

    • Industrial Expansion: Accelerating the development of the Global City project in Gurugram and the Integrated Manufacturing Cluster in Hisar.

    • Startup Ecosystem: Launching a massive “Youth Entrepreneurship Fund” to support 10,000 new startups in the state within the next year.

    • Agricultural Tech: Transitioning toward high-value horticulture and organic farming to increase farmers’ income and agricultural exports.

  • Focus on the Common Man: Saini reiterated the government’s commitment to Antyodaya (serving the last person). He promised that the fruits of this economic growth would directly benefit the poorest of the poor through improved health facilities and 100% digital service delivery.

  • Modern Infrastructure: The CM highlighted that 2026 would see the completion of major stretches of the Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor and several key national highways that will act as “veins of economic prosperity.”

  • Youth & Employment: “2026 will be the Year of the Youth. We are aligning our education with global industrial needs to ensure that Haryana’s youth are not just job seekers, but job creators,” he added.

  • Call for Unity: Closing his address, the CM urged every citizen to contribute to the state’s progress. “This target is not just a government number; it is a collective dream. Let us work together to make Haryana the most prosperous state in India.”
