In a significant move to strengthen the judicial infrastructure and reduce the pendency of cases in rural pockets, three new courts were inaugurated today in the Barwala and Narnaund subdivisions of Hisar district. The inauguration marks a major step toward bringing the justice system closer to the common man and ensuring speedier disposal of legal disputes.

The New Judicial Facilities The expansion of the local judiciary includes the addition of dedicated courtrooms and administrative wings.

  • Barwala Expansion: New courtrooms have been added to the Barwala subdivision complex to handle the increasing volume of civil and criminal cases originating from the region.

  • Narnaund Addition: Similarly, the Narnaund subdivision has seen the addition of new judicial offices, aimed at catering to the legal needs of the local population who previously had to travel to the district headquarters for many hearings.

  • Purpose: The primary objective of these new courts is to provide “Justice at the Doorstep,” saving time and travel expenses for litigants and witnesses from surrounding villages.

Inauguration and Dignitaries The ceremony was attended by senior judicial officers and representatives of the local bar associations. During the event, the speakers emphasized that modern judicial infrastructure is a prerequisite for a fair and efficient legal system. They highlighted that these new courts are equipped with digital facilities to support the e-court mission, allowing for faster filing and tracking of cases.

Impact on Legal Services Members of the Bar Association welcomed the move, stating that the new courts would not only provide a better working environment for lawyers but also help in the early settlement of long-pending family and land disputes. The judicial administration has already begun the process of allocating specific case files to these newly established courts to ensure they become fully operational by the coming week.

This development is part of the larger state-wide project to upgrade subdivision-level judicial complexes, ensuring that the legal system keeps pace with the growing population and legal complexities in rural Haryana.
