Farm Leaders Assisted Interception

Farm leaders Nirmal Singh and Bakhshish Singh Sona confirmed they had initiated night patrolling on the Abohar-Hanumangarh highway after receiving information that attempts were being made to smuggle paddy from Rajasthan.

The leaders intervened after stopping two vehicles moving toward Abohar on Friday night and confirming the crop’s origin was Rajasthan before calling the official staff. They emphasized the need for vigilance, stating, “The grain market faces a glut due to slow lifting. We can’t allow people from other states to create more problems for us.”
